The service

MengWorks creates personalized children's storybooks: you choose a story, provide a child's name, age and photo, and we generate a book in which the child is the hero. You always preview the full book before paying for it.

AI disclosure

Illustrations are AI-assisted and created from your child's photo, in our Dreampaint Watercolor style. Because each book is generated individually, small variations between pages and between the preview and final files can occur; the preview you approve is representative of the book you receive.

Delivery

• Digital editions: delivered to your email, typically within minutes of confirmed payment;
• Book Club editions: one new digital book per month, delivered the same way;
• Print editions are offered only once they open for ordering (waitlist subscribers are notified first).

Book Club subscription

• Price: $7.99 per month, billed monthly through our payment provider;
• The subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel;
• Cancel anytime from your account page, or by emailing meng@mengworks.com — no phone call, no cancellation fee;
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month; books already delivered remain yours to keep and re-read.

Acceptable use

Only upload photos you have the right and the guardian authority to use. Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful to children; we may refuse or remove such orders and refund them.

Intellectual property

The book we make for you is licensed for your family's personal use — read it, gift it, print a copy at home. Story texts, series characters (including Ollie the Dream Guide) and the MengWorks brand remain our property and may not be resold or redistributed commercially.

Refunds

Refunds follow our Refund Policy. If anything about your book is wrong because of an error on our side, tell us at meng@mengworks.com and we will fix or refund it.
